BC Networks Sets to honor Alhaja Chief Raliat Alarape Owolewa for her continuous support for youth development with "Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) Champion Award"

Alhaja Chief Raliat Alarape Owolewa in recognition of her exceptional contributions to youth development and human capital development in Nigeria will be recognized and honored with the BC Networks "Digital Skills 4 Youth Champion Award" coming June 6, 2026 at the 13 years anniversary of the company and commissioning of its ultra modern Digital Skills Innovation Hub.

BC Networks proudly recognizes and celebrates Alhaja Chief Raliat Alarape Owolewa, a distinguished business leader and philanthropist, for her outstanding contributions to community development, youth empowerment, and humanitarian service.


Alhaja Chief Raliat Alarape Owolewa is a renowned and distinguished business leader and philanthropist who, alongside her late husband, Alhaji Chief Shehu Abdulsalam Owolewa, built a legacy rooted in enterprise, service, and community impact. Over the years, she has continued to uphold and expand this legacy through her unwavering commitment to improving lives.


She is widely acclaimed for her impactful interventions in youth empowerment and human capital development, consistently investing resources to support the progress of young people. Her generosity has extended to hundreds of widows and youths across Lagos State, Ilorin, and Omu-Aran, significantly contributing to the growth and development of these communities.


In recognition of her exceptional contributions and lasting impact on society, she was conferred with the prestigious traditional title of Iyalaje of Omu-Aran by His Royal Highness, the Olomu of Omu-Aran, Chief Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti (Olomu Efon II), and the Olomu-in-Council. This distinguished honor is reserved for women of remarkable strength, influence, leadership, and entrepreneurial excellence.


The title Iyalaje is deeply rooted in tradition and signifies a powerful blend of leadership, service, and economic influence. It stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication to community development, the promotion of societal welfare, and her enduring commitment to humanity.
